After sandwiching and securing your quilt, you can use your embroidery machine to do the quilting for you. Always start in the center and work your way out, keeping the area of the quilt sandwich you are working with smooth as well as the other areas out of the way. (I use a dowel to tightly roll up the sides with) No need to stablize the quilt, as long as you have the hoop tight, and quilt away, leaving no more than 6 inches between quilting stitchery blocks. No one will believe it's not free-motion quilted. (of course, try it with a smaller sample for alittle experience before trying on a larger quilt.)
